Technically this was a
continuation of my previous two cruises; however Silversea booked two charters
in between. From what I hear all the
guests did was drink on the charters, sleeping on deck and in the
hallways. They actually ran out of beer
for one of the charters. The crew was
glad when the normal passengers returned.
This cruise started in San Juan , with ports of call in St
Thomas , St. Maarten, St. Barts, Tortola, BVI, La Romana, Dominican Republic , Falmouth ,
Jamaica , GeorgeTown ,
Grand Cayman Island ,
Key West and finally Ft. Lauderdale .
I did not take my usual
compliment of photos, since I had been to most of the ports before. I hope you enjoy the ones I have posted.
I was invited to the
Captain’s table one evening for dinner.
On a previous cruise on the Silver Explorer, the captain invited himself
to join Eric and me at the outdoor grill.
On the final night I had
dinner with two of the entertainers – Kathryn and Jordan. It was Jordan ’s 22nd birthday
and we celebrated the occasion.
