Eric and I attended Amber and Mark's wedding at the Graceland Chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada. Amber is Norman and Ann Shuker's daughter, our good friends from London, England. We attended their son Alex's wedding six years ago in Elstree, England.
We walked the Las Vegas Strip every day, catching many familiar sights. The weather was perfect - in the 70s and 80s - not the 100 degree dry heat we expected.
We saw the Michael Jackson Cirque du Soliel show, but the music was so loud it hurt my ears. The few Cirque segments were fantastic, and the hologram of Michael Jackson was amazing.
On Wednesday we went to the Graceland Wedding Chapel for the wedding. Amber was all smiles when Elvis appeared and sang three of his songs. The theme was Blue Hawaii with everyone wearing Hawaii attire. We had cocktails in a Tiki Bar.
On Thursday we had lunch with my niece Rachel and her friend Randy. I offered to pay for their wedding and they refused. It would have been fun to attend a second Elvis wedding. Maybe another day.
On Friday we drove to Zion National Park in Utah, well worth the three hour drive. The scenery was beautiful.
